One Reason Why We Question Technology

Apart from the fact that it could be incredibly dangerous and completely irresponsible to do this type of thing it does provide a real life demonstration of why we must never trust technology implicitly. At Roadtrafficlaw.com we take nothing for granted and we always look behind all the technological presumptions that the Crown may try to rely upon.

"Approved Devices" such as speed cameras, and intoximeters have a very special status that means our Parliamentarians have established that if these devices meet certain standards and are used in a particular way then the courts of this country do not need to look behind that. We consider that whilst this special status is a necessary part of the legal process it can never be taken for granted and we as defence agents will always examine all devices used in our cases to ensure that the special status is warranted and can be depended upon.
